Hello, I purchased a Hero Z690 and very disappointed with the brightness of the Polymo Lighting display! You would think paying $600 for a motherboard I would have some control of the brightness Plus no control of the content of the have Polymo Lighting display which is only available on the Hero Extreme version.
Thanks

If you install Armoury Crate, then you do get 4 different effects which can be applied to Polymo lighting (Dot, Rain, Spark and Aura Synch). However, there is not an option to adjust brightness. I mention this, just in case there is another effect that you might prefer.

You will find this on the 2nd option down on the left hand side of Armoury Crate (Device) and then you will see a tab for Polymo Lighting on the right hand side. Having said that, I do agree that brightness adjustment would be nice.

I have to start the spark setting manually after every computer startup, neither the motherboard nor the armory is saved, it is true that spark is checked in the settings, but it has to be turned off and on again, then it switches to the spark setting

I just selected Spark within Armoury Crate, did a reboot and the setting is still on Spark. I don't know why it isn't the same for you. If you search for Armoury Crate and then right click and select app settings you can do an app reset. Not sure if that will help, but maybe worth a try. Mine is also set to 'Power Optimised (recommended)'. I would think that you have some sort of software issue rather than it being hardware related. You could also try running the Armoury Crate app uninstaller from the support pages and install it again. That might fix it if all else fails.

Hi! thank you for the quick help, if I shut down the machine and then restart the whole system. I have to constantly open the Armory Crate and re-enable the spark setting. I've tried all options, but I don't think the motherboard will save

That seems very strange. Have you completed any Armoury Crate updates? You'll find the update centre under Armoury Crate settings. Also, does your BIOS remember other settings, like XMP for example? If it remembers other settings then I think you can eliminate any motherboard issues and I still think this will just be a software issue. Sorry that I don't know what might be causing it 😞

Random idea - if your BIOS is not remembering settings, you might have a flat battery. I think this is unlikely, but it's possible.
