I have not counted the REINSTALLATIONS from 0 with formatting from BIOS of C:/... and the thing still does not TURN OFF THE POLYMOLIGHTING when I turn off the PC, having deactivated from the application that I do not want it to remain on, even having from the BIOS that ARMOURy CREATE turns off all the LEDs and RGB and ARGB, my ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO motherboard

Hi @Miguel_V Keep an eye out for MB plugin v1.2.22 over the next few days, this aims to resolve this behaviour.

Even putting this, the POLIMO LIGHTING does not turn off, the images say it clearly.

When turning off the PC

Hi @Miguel_V have you tried to enable STEALTH MODE from the AURA menu in the top right corner? This should turn all sort of lighting off on the motherboard only without the need of any Armory Crate or any other software. It will not turn off any RGB lighting on your RAM or GFX Card etc.

I hope this helps you resolve your issue. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, but I have tried everything, as I explained at the beginning, since the update to 5.9. 9. 0 I have started having problems, that the POLYMO LIGHTING no matter how much I put in ARMOURY CREATE that when turning off the PC NOTHING stays on, it SCRATCHES, and that in the BIOS I also have set when the PC is OFF to turn off everything, it SCRATCHES, I don't know how many times in less than a MONTH, I have FORMATTED the M2 from BIOS and reinstalled WINDOWS 11 Professional v24H2.

And reinstall all the applications that I normally use.
What I have registered with ASUS is the following.

Miguel_V_0-1728395088785.png

New PC, since 2 months ago 3000 € in AMAZON, the previous one had a ROG MAXIMUS X Hero motherboard.

And ASUS keeps creating problems with every update

Try Aura OFF in BIOS.

There are two settings.

You want to set it to Aura Off for when PC is Soft Off, Sleep and hibernate.

I have tried both MODES in the BIOS, "AURA DISABLED" and "STEALTH MODE" and in both the option selected in AURMOURY CREATOR is SCRATCHED
The only thing that works is, DEACTIVATING the POLYMO LIGHTING in AURA SYNC, but then what good is that thing installed on the MOTHERBOARD if I can't set it to light up in the different modes.

Miguel_V_0-1728404198328.jpeg

As you can read in my previous interventions, I have tried EVERYTHING, and the ARMOURY CREATOR application does its thing, that is, I select to TURN OFF EVERYTHING when turning off the PC, I exit the application and after a while I open ARMOURY CREATOR again, it continues adamant that it does not keep the OPTION DEACTIVATED, and it continues adamant that it remains activated, as I said before the only thing it does turn off, but then IT DEACTIVATES THE POLYMO LIGHTING always is to deactivate the POLYMO of the HEGS in AURA SYNC.

unfortunately, this update is a load of crap, I have a lot of problems with it too.

This is what usually happens with EVERY ARMOURY update. In the version prior to v5.9.9.0 everything worked correctly, after a vacation. There is a saying that goes "WHAT WORKS WELL FOR THE MAJORITY, NEVER TOUCH IT" until you are sure it WORKS. Does ASUS NOT HAVE TESTERS? Or does it think that the ones who have to take the trouble out of the application are the USERS.

Hi @Miguel_V I'm so sorry I did not read your original post properly and misunderstood what you were trying to do.

Reading this message again, I believe you are trying to make sure your Polymo Lighting gets turned off when you turn off your PC but you do want to see them working when your PC is running. If my understanding is correct then please DO NOT set your mode to STEALTH MODE as it will fully turn off the lighting. Your want it to be set to AURA ON or press F5 to load defaults and see what value is set.

In order for the lights to turn off when you SHUTDOWN the PC (not put it into sleep or hibernate state as I don't know what will happen in these states; it may all work you will need to test  it), you need to ENABLE ErP Ready in the BIOS. Please see https://www.asus.com/bd/support/faq/1043640/ link to see where ErP Ready menu is located in the BIOS.

I hope this helps you resolve your issue. Good luck!
