Hi,
I have unstable system based on Z690-F, crashes and BSODs, may be caused by PCIe lanes management among other things. Below is the PCIe table for Z690-F.
I used all M.2 slots for some time and my GPU was still running at x16 under load. Now I have only 1 NVMe card in slot M.2_1. I switched PCIEX16(G5) to x8/x8. Will the 8 lanes freed by the GPU be utilized by NVMe cards in the bottom 3 slots under the MB chipset?
How many more NVMe cards could I use now if I wanted them to use 4 lanes each or just be stable?
Then, will anything change if I add a sound card in the small PCIEX1?
What about Thunderbolt card in PCIEX16(G3) which uses 4 lanes?
