Optional Asustek update in Windows Update - information required

I have a 2 month old PC I built myself.
CPU i9-13900k
Motherboard: ProArt Z790 Creator Wifi (bios 1203)

Now in the optional Windows Updates is this "Asustek Computer Inc - System - 3.1.14.0"
I want to know a bit more about this if possible before I install it. Is it some kind of firmware update and how important is it?

[SOLVED] The answer is that the driver shown in Windows Update relates to ACPI functions and general system management.
It is an Asus System Control Interface driver.

I suggest that such drivers have more meaningful names.
