Early November I updated my TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 to the latest 4001 BIOS, along with ASM1074 USB FW update from the support page:
TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 | Motherboards | ASUS Global
I did have to enable XMP and make sure to set my FAN1 to Ignore since I have an AIO pump, but otherwise left the default.
Since doing that update, sometimes when I wake Windows 11 from sleep, the NIC will show that it is disconnected, although there are Connection and Activity lights on the port on the motherboard and the Switch it is connected to shows the same.
If I unplug the cable and reinsert, then Windows shows it as connected and works as expected. I updated to the latest Intel NIC driver 1.1.4.43 as part of troubleshooting and now it only seems to happen sometimes when waking up, but not every time.
I've removed the NIC from Device Manager and let it reconnect but no change
I can't think of anything else I modified at that time. Should I try rolling back the BIOS to see if it is really the case, or can I even do a rollback?
