Newly build after 2/3hours freeze

Z790 maximus hero
i9-13900k
Rtx 3060 12gb
Thor 1200 watts
64gb 5200 ddr5 corsair dominator*
* Aio evga clcx 360mm*

The first 1-3 games its fine
and then it freeze and stock
And then my aio led says
Warning connect the usb cable
To usb internal connector on the motherboard
I thought my usb_34 is broken and i transfer the usb
Header in usb_e12 and still the same it freeze the game
And the can’t recognize the temperature show in the led or aio

I assume that the AIO works and then you get the failure after some time? Have you installed all of your Windows and motherboard drivers? Perhaps the motherboard USB ports are unstable for some reason. Have you looked for errors in Device Manager?

Do your case USB ports fail at the same time?

So i switch to evga clcx 360 did he damage my unit? Â*and Â*My case is rog helios and my usb 2.0 front panel and back works

Ok thanks. Have you made sure that the AIO is plugged into the PUMP HEADER, not the CPU HEADER?

If the defective pump was only running at 200rpm, that could have been a power issue. I don't know if your AIO pump takes power from a SATA power connector?

If it is plugged into the wrong header, maybe it is drawing too much power which eventually causes the failure. Sorry that I don't know what the answer is, just trying to make some helpful suggestions...

Also go to your motherboard support page and make sure that Armoury Crate hasn't missed any drivers listed on those pages...

Yes in my nzxt z63 i connect my pump header next to my cpu_opt

In that case, sorry to say I'm out of ideas. Might be be worth contacting EVGA for help - maybe they will know a trick?

I don't know if undervolting would help, but have you run stress tests and monitored if everything is stable? I can only assume that a fault somewhere is causing the USB to become non responsive after some time.

Good idea DragDay7. It's certainly possible. It wouldn't do any harm to make sure that the cooler is not too tight. Give it a try and let us know if it works. If the cooling plate is pushed down with springs, then just screw it down gently - just finger tight, no more. It's the springs that are designed to do the work and apply even pressure. Suggest you don't remove it completely unless you have some thermal paste. If that doesn't work, then get some paste and try reseating the CPU as well (beware of dust).

Did you build the PC yourself?

It's also a good idea to check ALL cables and motherboard connectors, including all of your PSU connectors if it's modular. The 24 pin connector in particular might not be fully seated. You should be able to tell by looking carefully along the edge of the connector. There should not be a gap. Try and give the motherboard some support from underneath when pushing it in if it seems very tight. You could also try reseating the RAM and GPU as well while you are in the case. One last idea, I once had a faulty USB cable connected to a software controlled radio that was causing keyboard and mouse freezes - it was certainly affecting USB reliability and I had to restart to get the PC working again until I found the problem.
