No - Amplify level to Performance, Soundeffects back on (uncheck). Badinerie still distorts a tad maybe bad recording but MONEY seems sharp. .wav is still breathy. Definitely different from very clear Realtek on Z790-V Prime. Will have to see...

Give me a day or 2 to test before I mark as solution.

EDIT: solution may be in Sonic Studio, choose Music instead of default Gaming (when not playing game!!!)

NO,
Uninstall any old Realtek Audio drivers.
Reboot.
Install Audio drivers from ASUS for your board.
Open Realtek Audio Console.
Click on gray gear by "speakers" (or appropriate).
Under "Sound Effects click on the red S.
-Sonic Studio Effects will be ON.
IMPORTANT: Choose Gaming while gaming but choose Music or something else when not gaming or may sound distorted.
GREAT SOUND!!! Tried it with Time Spy - see next thread.

Hi @kris33

What do you mean by sounds fuzzy? Most likely it is resonance through the VRM during load transitions - nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks. Sounds half distorted, not clear. removing stuff and rebooting helped but not completely.. it's not the old static but def bad driver. I just rebooted w/o adding your driver so got default win11 , so let me go add your driver now. c u soon.

Okay, applied that driver and better but still slightly fuzzy.

Speakers are Bose Computer Music Monitor/ Desktop Computer Speakers Desktop PC plugged to line-out 3/8 stereo. Test is simple .wav

Go to Realtek Audio Console. Check remove all effects - better but still breathy. Amplify level default extreme to "powerful". Better - I need to test others with that.
