Hello, I have a ProArt Z690 Creator w/ Wifi motherboard, Core i7 12700K 3.6 GHZ processor, RTX 3080 graphics card, 1000 watt power supply and 96GB of Corsair Vengence 6400 RAM (2 sticks) that I just updated to from 64GB of Corsair Vengence 5200 RAM (4 sticks). For video editing, the prior RAM worked fine, but when I started day trading, I purchased a memory intensive program, and the system slowed down significantly (I have an AT&T 1GB Fiber Internet connection). I upgraded the RAM, but now I have random restarts, freezing and the occasional BSOD. I checked the RAM's compatibility with the motherboard and I seem to be good. I'm somewhat tech savvy, but this one is beyond me. Any advice before I have to take the machine to Geek Squad or similar would be appreciated. Thank you.
I have this information regarding the new memory:

Hello geos
Your new memory kit shows it's for Intel 700 series motherboards and Intel 13th Gen cpu's or newer.
But, it will likely work, just not at the rated specs.

I can totally relate to how frustrating that is! I recently upgraded my system as well, specifically to handle resource-intensive tasks like video editing using CapCut. While CapCut is an amazing editor, especially for creating professional-grade videos, it can be quite demanding on the hardware when working with high-resolution projects. After upgrading my RAM, I also faced similar issues like random restarts and freezes. It turned out that the RAM timings weren’t properly configured in the BIOS. If you're using CapCut or any other editing software, ensuring stable system performance is crucial.
