Ah, frankly, I'm confused. I have the previous BIOS. Since my processor overheated there, I bought a good air cooling instead of liquid cooling, but it was not enough. Should the latest bios update be done or should I continue with the old intel baseline profile? Thank you note: processor (13600k)

Hi @chorde,
The QVL is a guideline to show which kits are validated, however, there are no assurances due to variance between parts when overclocking.
I normally suggest purchasing a kit 2 to 3 bins below the maximum validated frequency for best chance of not requiring manual tuning. Changes to CPU ucode and ME firmware may also impact overclocking stability.

Do you think this bios is a real solution?

that was the problem with me, I loaded a febreuary one, and video games work again, dont know why but its works, so im staying here...for the moment i have xmp disabled, i will see later what happens when i turned it on...i got still crashes on battlefield v, just turned dx12 off and seems to work better..battlefield 2042 also crashed but at least could play more than 15 minutes, im playing doom everything on ultra ...seems great.
why the xx58 doesnt work for my b760a gaming ?
can you give me some advices on values to change in BIOS or a good tuto you know for a 14700k ?

Ah frankly, I'm waiting for the new bios version, which I expect to be released within this month, so I hope this problem will be completely solved because my processor is currently in the Intel baseline profile and I have fps loss even if it is very low, I do not want this to happen.

I have been using the latest bos for my mobo and everything seems to work great.
I heard intel will still be working for new updates because they have a messed up codes there on the 14 cpus. Im not that interested in new upcoming updates for me because now it run smooth and clear,,,but i feel really sorry for the rest of you guys, the ones that have a 'faulty' one
