I have been building Asus PCs for years but this one has my stumped and this is the first time I have resorted to a forum to ask a question!
The System I am building
Asus ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi with i9-13900K, 2 Samsung 990 Pro's, Asus ROG Strix RTX-3090 Ti OC, 32GB Trident Z5 6400 DDR5.
For the initial build everything went fine up until the first boot. With the GPU or without the GPU I am getting a consistent BIOS Code D6 - No Console Output Devices Available. I have tried resetting the CMOS but I have not tried BIOS Flashback.
Also, I want to know if it's better to put the boot 990 in the M.2_1 slot and run it at PCEI 5.0 x4 or put it in M.2_2 and let the G5 PCEI Slot (3090 Ti) run at x8 OR run it at PCEI 4.0 x4 and run G5 at x16?
Of course the second part is MOOT if the board is DOA!

More info...I tried some other video cards and the VGA (White QLED) stays lit and I get D6. Maybe I will try contacting ASUS.

Well, I decided to use my Amazon return and dump the motherboard. Can someone recommend a Motherboard to me? I would like to run my RTX-3090 Ti at PCIE 4.0 x16 and the 2 990 Pros as fast as possible. Thanks!
