New Build - No hope

HouseofTinaAbun
Level 7
Brand new Maximus Z690 Hero Evangelion board.*
It’s a Beautiful piece of hardware, the first piece I
selected, primarily for the color (my house is shades of purple)
*
I’ve learned a hard lesson, the pitfalls of early adoption (but not too early really
These flaws should I have already been corrected by now in the bios by Asus)*
Stuck on error 55, And an Alice in Wonderland pit of fixes - This isn’t my first build,*
This isn’t my first rodeo.

After taking apart everything 3000 times and finally coming across the truth
*the bios isn’t reading the DDR5 memory appropriately, And apparently across every
*major motherboard manufacturer since release. Easy fix - if*

If you weren’t me and you opted to save a couple bucks by getting a KF processor with no *integrated *display graphics, no way to enter the bios, *and basically spent a whole bunch of money on computer components that are sitting dead in my room.*

So When is Asus going to finally release an update to the bios to fix this problem?*
9 months later …….*

Hello,

55 means memory not detected. If you're only able to see this Q-CODE even at complete defaults, then it has nothing to do with the BIOS. Moreover, having a SKU with an iGPU in this instance would make zero difference. The system isn't able to output a display if it's unable to detect DRAM.

Check the socket for any bent pins and make sure the cooler is mounted correctly. Install one memory module in DIMM slot A_2
