"The update introduces the Intel Baseline Profile option, allowing users to revert to Intel factory default settings for basic functionality, lower power limits, and improving stability in certain games"
I haven't installed it yet, I think it's aimed at 14000K cpus

Usually I don't have any issues, but today right after I restarted my system (I could hear the Windows start up sound from far away) my system just shut completely off. After pressing the power button nothing would happen. I shut off the switch from the PSU, waited a couple minutes and the system turned on again and was working. Sadly that instant shut off messed up the Nvidia driver. Event viewer was flooded with "NVIDIA LocalSystem Container" every couple seconds, GeForce Experience would not work anymore because of that. Luckily I could fix this issue with using DDU for the first time ever.
I don't know if this occurrence was related to this new BIOS version or if it was something else. I hope it's not my Intel CPU that's starting to get unstable, I think I don't have to explain that one xD.

every time i update bios i hope my xmp will start working without crashes and bsod.
on 3501 i have memory problems even without xmp and both with and without intel baseline parameters.
rolled back to 2802 and system is stable again. i think i should stop my experiments with bios.

Anyone having issues with iCue showing a red triangle on RAM using this and the previous firmware? After a couple minutes, the RAM disappears from iCue completely. I am not able to control the RAM LED lighting at all. I've tried toggling the SPD Write feature both on and off as this was an issue for quite a while when my mobo released, but it does not fix the issue. Outside of the SPD Write issue, this has not been an issue for me until the last couple BIOS updates. I'm thinking this is connected to the BIOS firmware.
I have a Z690 Formula with Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 RAM.

I also had a few issues with iCue, where the motherboard would not show up and it would get stuck when trying to download software updates. I didn't have the RAM disappear, but it sounds kind of similar.
I fixed it by uninstalling iCue and then downloading/reinstalling. In my case, I didn't think it was related to BIOS.
I also had a similar problem in Armoury Crate where the motherboard and RGB lighting strips could not be found. Again, uninstall/reinstall fixed everything for me although I've just noticed that the motherboard has vanished again in Armoury Crate. Strangely, my RGB lighting strips are still working exactly as they should when I play music, even though they no longer 'exist'. iCue is all present and correct though, no problems there.
So yeah, something odd going on. BIOS related? I don't know.
EDIT: I rebooted and everything is back as it should be again in Armoury Crate and iCue. However, after I wrote the above I noticed that iCUE was not seeing the motherboard temp sensors, so fan control wasn't fully functional. Since the reboot the sensors are back and it's all good again.

I'm on 13900KS on a z690E board. My MOBO has also dissappeared from the armoury crate

It turns out my issue was that the RAM had gone bad. I’m actually thinking that iCue may have corrupted it. I put new RAM in, and it is working fine.

@maximiza What CPU are you using?

Bios 3603 looks tempting but I've got everything dialled in perfectly with 3401 and I've already modified my power settings to match Intel Extreme but with a couple of tweaks for Asus MCE.
