So I'm excited to see what that brings. Does anyone already have this and can say what values are set to the Intel factory default settings?

PS: Maybe some help for the problems after gaming in connection with the "K" CPUs, which we've been reading about a lot lately.

Addendum:
I have now installed the 2202 and can see almost no differences to the 2102. Only the MC voltage has been set from 1,296 V to 1,119 V and the cooler forecast has gone up from 165 pts to 169 pts.
That was it.

I didn't find this "Intel Baseline Profile option" in the UEFI. So I would be interested to know where or how you can use it.

ATTENTION ANYONE READING THIS

do not use this profile unless you are actually having stability issues. this sends more voltage than what a normal chip should use. 

just disable mce if you have stability issues and if not stable THEN use this profile. but honestly you should be RMAing the cpu if you need to use this profile at all.

Exactly what voltage are you refiring too?

If you set "MCE" (Asus MultiCore Enhancement) to "disabled - enforce All limits", PL1 and PL2 are set to the Intel specifications.
In addition (since UEFI 2102) the CPU Core/Cache Current Limit Max. is set to 280A.
Previously there were 500A here and 511A when the limits were open.

Yes I know all of what you are saying ,I was asking Vynra what voltage he was refiring to.

 

intel fail safe  is the worst of the worst SVID behavior and increases the VID table to the highest to ensure stability. however increase in temps and voltage is a downside of using this. thus having lower clock speed as well. you should be using auto or typical scenario (if it is stable)

also these motherboards are able to withstand over 500+ amps (assuming you didnt cheap out on motherboard) so this svid behavior also ignores what your motherboard is capable of.

if you are not stable on defaults you should RMA the chip.

Thanks for your response,  I understand what you are saying but, if Intel as set your baked in SVID then surly that should work. With Intel's stock SVID, mine is 1.334v.
