Need help finding RAM for ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI

I'm running an i7-13700KF and get the Q-LED DRAM orange light while I'm trying to use XPG 2x ax5u6000c3016g-dtlabbk DDR5 modules.

I don't see XPG on the ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI memory list so I'm assuming that's the issue.

However, when I use that list I also notice I don't see any 2x32gb options. I've ordered Patriot (on the list) Viper Venom DDR5 2X32GB 6400mhz.

I'm also seeing Corsair Vengence ddr5 2x32gb 6400 mhz  on my local marketplace that I'd like to pick up rather than the patriot.

The problem is, I don't see any 2x32gb options on the site and I need some help figuring out if either the patriot or corsair memory will actually work (and if the XPG is incompatible).

Hello MisterDerp

That corsair memory kit is for Intel Z700 series motherboards and Intel 13th Gen cpu's or newer, but that's not to say it won't work, just maybe not at the rated specs.

64GB 6400MHz cl32 is a pretty aggressive memory kit, for a successful boot, here is what I'd try:

1) Shut down your pc and unplug the power supply cable.

2) Make sure you have the memory installed in the A2-B2 slots (2nd & 4th slots from the cpu).

3) Press and hold the clear cmos button for 3 seconds.

4) Boot up, if prompted, press F1 to enter the bios.

5) On the Ai Tweaker page Enable X.M.P.

6) Go to Dram Timing Control.

7) At the very top of the Dram Timing Control page are the 4 primary timings and the command rate.

Set them like so:

40

40

40

84

Command Rate - 2N

8: Hit F10 and Enter to save and exit.

It may take a little bit for memory training and stick on the yellow Dram light for a minute. If it doesn't boot after a few minutes, then there is still a stability issue.

Thanks for the response Nate152. I got to step 4 but the DRAM light is still on and it never POSTs. I never see signal reach the monitor. I could try a different GPU but I feel like the DRAM issue is the main problem.

The CPU is a KF so using the HDMI port on the motherboard likely doesn't work and the HDMI on the GPU should.
