Multi monitor-Multi GPU problem.

I am running a bit of an over complicated system.

Z690 Hero
12000KF
RTX2080ti
GT720
32GB Corsair RAM

I am running 5 monitors with 3 on the main GPU in Nvidia Surround, and 2 on the GT720 as auxiliary monitors.

I want to upgrade the GT720 to a GTX1660 Super so that I can run the latest drivers on both cards (The driver issue is the reason I want to upgrade the second card.) The problem is that I cant get the PCIE slot to run the newer card - I end up with a QR code 62 and no POST at all.

I have tried in both the second and third PCIE slots. I have tried taking out the SSD in the top SSD slot. I have run out of ideas.

Not sure why you can't get it working, but I was thinking it might be easier to upgrade to a more recent GPU with 5 outputs? You'd get better performance and less complication that way - just check that a new card has the correct combination of HDMI/DP outputs for your monitors.
Z690 Hero, BIOS 3401, MEI 2345.5.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.30.2361, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, i9 12900K, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

I wont be able to make that happen this year at least sadly.

Does the 1660 Super work if you don't have your 2080ti plugged in?

Yes it does, it also works on another rig (that I want to bung the old GT720 in and use as a plex server.)
