Missing windows drivers, can not figure out what to install

I am missing 2 drivers for my PC, I am pretty sure they are motherboard related but I tried downloading all the drivers for my mobo from this Asus page. The SMBUS driver has definitely been missing since I built the computer 2.5 years ago, and I am not sure how long the PCI device has been there. These missing drivers are not causing me any issues but it gets on my nerves every time I am in device manager and cant figure out why these devices are missing.

You need to install your Intel Chipset Drivers :

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/VMD/Serial IO/GNA/DTT/HID/PMT (6xx/7xx/8xx)

- Intel Chipset Drivers

Also for reference, you need these drivers/firmware for your ASUS PRIME Z790M-Plus motherboard (you don't need Intel VMD, GNA, DTT & iGPU Drivers if you disabled/don't enabled them in your BIOS) :

Thanks for the list, why arent all these drivers on the main ASUS page? I downloaded all the drivers and installed them including the chipset drivers. I will go ahead and install all these too, weird that ASUS wouldn't link to every intel driver needed

mokichu tell you the list needed.

for z790 you need 3 main drivers.  Mei, chipset IO.

if raid is in use and is activated in bios (VMD controler) you need vmd/raid drivers. (no needed if raid is not in use or you not use)

DTT is the other one. that is called in bios Thermal Configuration  Intel Dynamic Tunning Technology configuration

since you are on PRIME Z790M-PLUS you have only Ethernet. check the boss notes.

nvidia/amd gpu

igpu IF YOUR BOARD has integraded graphics. if the gpu was added will off.

IF THE BIOS is on 1810 MAKE SURE ALSO once the above are added, install tIntel ME Consumer Firmware :

Firmware : 16.1.35.2557 [31/07/2024]

Tha ones missing are IO.

for us intel usersm IT IMPERATIVE, if you are on 13th and 14th gen load defaults (f5) then f10 to safe and then enter back bios and enable you xmp. and DONE!  that guarantee the intel profile if engage. if you cpu is new you still in time.
