I currently have the ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WIFI D4 and notice PCH temps in the region of 67c even when the system is idling !. It's no surprise as the heatsink is tiny, covered by the video card eject mechanism, never mind bathed in hot air from the card too...
Then we have the Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero with its MUCH larger PCH heatsink..... What temps are folk seeing with this ??
