leds fail to initialise half the time on boot.

So after the update to 2503 to fix the i9-3900K/F CPU issues, I find that my LEDs dont light up, and the ones that do, do not use the scheme as defined in Amoury Crate.

Board is the ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4.

Amoury Crate replorts No devices Availabe, and there are no drivers or software update available.
This only happens after a cold boot, like the first switch on in the morning, and subsequent switch ons and reboots perform as normal.

What do you think the issue is ?

Thanks

Hi @Umpa can you please share additional details like what LEDs are you talking about? Do you have some ARGB LED strip connected to the ARGB header on your board? If yes, what is the exact make and model of the LED strips you have and on which headers on your board these strips are connected?

From your post, I am understanding that things were working properly and after this most recent BIOS update, this problem has started? Did I understand your issue correctly? What was your previous BIOS on which things were working properly?

Have you tried to CLEAR CMOS and then get into BIOS after you saw the message that you need to press F1 to enter BIOS? If you did not see this message then your CLEAR CMOS failed and you need to try again. Once in BIOS after CLEAR CMOS, did you press F5 to load new defaults of your BIOS followed by pressing F10 to SAVE and EXIT without making any changes? In this new default state do you see this same issue or things begin to work?

Good luck!
