Hello,
Yesterday, after booting my computer, the LAN wasn't working anymore. I've been using my LAN cable for a long time now, without any problems. After searching for hours and hours and trying a lot of things nothing seemed to be fixing the problem. I've tried:
- Resetting the router
- Went over to Device manager and checked if all the drivers we're up to date
- Did a re-install of windows
- Tried downloading the LAN driver over on ASUS Download center
- Went into the bios to see if LAN was enabled
- Put the LAN cable in an other computer to check if the cable is working correctly, which it does
I'm really out of options here. The computer i'm using is only 1 year old.
I don't know a lot about computers but there aren't any lights burning when the LAN is connected to the computer. Also ethernet option isn't available when i go to settings > Network and internet
Maybe my Ethernet port suddenly broke?
Can't access my wifi (no wifi connections found) even though my other devices can access my wifi from the same room, but that is another problem.
Anyone got any ideas?
