Intel Wi-Fi 6# AX411 160Mhz #4 on ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme

I'm having trouble with my new  ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme  mobo with regards to the Intel Wi-Fi 6# AX411 160Mhz driver.  I can't seem to get the Wi-Fi or the Bluetooth for that matter to detect. 

The Device reports a cannot start (Code 10) and Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

I've tried to use the Intel assistant and manually installing the latest and previous from latest drivers manually.

I'd be grateful for any thoughtful responses on how to try to resolve this.

Have you tried MoKiChU's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers here:

If that still doesn't work, disable in BIOS, restart and then turn them back on again.

Hi John thanks for the suggestions.  I just tried MoKiChU's drivers.  The WiFi driver installed but a moment later the Device Mgr still reported a failure moments later, a Code 10 (Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.)     And as for the Bluetooth driver it wouldn't install due to a Code 10 error (which said can't start, I guess).  So I'll proceed with the BIOS disable suggestion and see what I get.  I'll report back in a bit.

As well as disabling in BIOS, also try a total power off after a shutdown using the PSU switch. After that, then try starting the service up again. Pretty sure I've read this has worked for others. I've never seen a code 10 myself, so fingers crossed.

Hey John and all, so, its been a few days.  A couple reboots later, and I noticed the Intel Wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers that were previously fixed are showing the same Code 10 failures as before.  The drivers are those latest drivers from MoKiChU's page.  I'm kinda at a loss what to do.  I'm looking for any suggestions.

If it might help any, these are the drivers for the card.  If you want me to check anything else, please advise.

Something else you might try is the Intel driver installer.  I have it on one system and it keeps the Intel devices up to date.

The Intel support assistant is pretty crappy.  It shows the driver installer fails.  But also that its up to date.  I suppose meaning no updates are available.

John you are a genius!  Seriously, this worked exactly as you said.  I grabbed the latest drivers from MoKiChU's as directed.  And had the issues as I noted in my previous reply.  So, following your instructions to disable in the BIOS, then, re-enable in the BIOS, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have both started working.  While I'm pleased with the outcome, I'm frustrated, as Rulik006 (thank you also for responding) said I don't believe I would have thought of this solution on my own.  I can't help but also feel like I'm a beta tester for a $1.5k Mobo.
