[Intel] Error in decompression algorithm of directX Run-Time installation file from microsoft

#Intel #RaptorLake Hi everyone, I'm sharing a way to check if your CPU is still working fine (Applicable to 14th generation, I don't have a 13th gen so I'm not sure) - Applicable to both laptops and desktops, as I have both: i9-14900hx (laptop) and i9-14900 (Base 65w and also updated 0x129 before the error occurred):

A simple test is to install Microsoft DirectX Run-Time ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 ) if you can install it 5 times in a row without failure, your CPU is temporarily fine!

Note: Since DirectX is installed, it cannot be uninstalled (or I don't know how to uninstall it) so please reinstall Windows and try installing DirectX again to test, it's a bit inconvenient and time-consuming.

Why use DirectX Run-Time instead of other tools:

  1. The last update of DirectX Run-Time: 20/02/2021, it's not recent due to software errors, and I'm sure before using the 14th gen CPU, my company used older CPUs (gen6 and gen8), installed smoothly on hundreds of machines, no errors.
  2. It also relates to Microsoft's file decompression algorithm, you look at the screenshot of the Log file that I posted, read it and you will understand. PS: The international community has also reported this error:
