Intel Connectivity Network Service Errors (EventID 16) Please help!!

Hey All, I have a ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO board which presents a number of errors in the intel connectivity network service. These bumps are throwing event log errors. Any help troubleshooting them would be great! I have already reinstalled the INTEL drivers from the ASUS drivers page, and even from Intel directly but it didn't solve the problem.

if everything is otherwise working OK, there is no need to be concerned. I don't have those particular errors (as far as I can see) but I have many other errors. In total, there are over 41,000 events in my log and my machine works perfectly.

Errors in the log are nothing to be concerned about and quite normal. Scammers often use those logs to demonstrate that the machine is virus infected and want to charge to fix them, which they don't.

So, unless you have specific problems like your networking is not working, don't worry.

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 4001, MEI 2433.6.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.35.2557, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Hi @ThatNerdPanda and @northchill can you please share what version of Windows are you running? Also share how you installed your Windows like fresh clean install or upgraded say Windows 10 to 11. How did you install your network driver software? What is the exact motherboard model you have that is showing this error?

While I agree with JohnAb that there are plenty of Windows Errors being reported all the time, there are errors we can ignore and then there are errors we should spend sometime resolving them. It is totally up to you as an individual what bothers you to use your system. Considering this post is made, I am making an assumption that it has bothered enough to warrant this post.

FYI, I do not see this problem on my Z790 DARK HERO board so I believe it is possibly a software installation issue on your machine which may be correctable depending on your skill level and the troubleshooting time you would like to spend fixing it.

Looking forward to your response in case you like to give some troubleshooting a try once you provide the information I requested.
