I tried for over 15 hours to get the Samsung SSD 990 PRO recognized in the BIOS.
I have a Kingston 500 GB SSD that works perfectly in both NVME SSD slots.
1. I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
2. I switched between the NVME 2.1 and 2.2 slots.
3. I checked whether it is in RAID or not.
4. I installed the previous BIOS version on the ASUS website.
5. I looked for similar cases on the internet and nothing.
6. I installed several recent drivers, especially for the disk controller, which in this case is Intel.
7. I updated Windows 11 Pro and all possible drivers, but nothing.
8. I used the SAMSUNG application to detect the disks, but nothing.
I simply came to the conclusion that the ASUS ROG STRIX B760 G WIFI D4 motherboard is not compatible with the SAMSUNG 990 PRO NVME SSD.
Does anyone have anything to add?
Thanks!
