I upgraded my pc from a 8700k, Asus 1080 to a 14700k and Asus 5070. This new pc has been very frustrating as it has been littered with issues. At some point I couldn't get past post but ONLY on soft resets (this no longer happens for whatever reason after a few days) due to it getting stuck on DRAM, my ram (Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000) does not show up in OpenRGB which is unusual, my windows will freeze after being idle for too long where the wallpaper engine animation freezes, my keyboard and mouse become unresponsive, and I have to hard reset my computer. Some of my games crash frequently when it used to never ever crash on my old pc, and just today Helldivers 2 is now capped at 48fps no matter what settings it is set to. No update to helldivers happened, I did not change anything I am aware of, and it ran at 70-90fps prior. It is super weird. I am not sure if these issues are related or completely unrelated.
Every driver is installed and up to date, I am on Bios version 1820, my corsair vengeance ram is compatible with my motherboard and I am running default XMP. If you name it I have probably tried it. I dont know if my motherboard is broken, GPU, ram, cpu, if its to do with the 14th gen issues everyone is talking about. I am just beaten down with these issues and would love to hear any ideas.

you need to look at windows event viewer to see what is exactly crashing. if you are getting WHEA errors that is definitely the cause, id try memory tests. ASUS has built in memory test in bios. Memtest is not the best memory stability test but it will at least be good enough that you know you can at least get to windows without it corrupting or something.

I confirmed my firmware on my drives were already up to date. Any other reasons for this behavior?

Yes as I showed it corresponds to an NVME on PCIe express port #25. Ever since turning on ASPM mode on reddit (which I heard solves these event 17 errors) I have not gotten another warning like this. Additionally, another problem I am facing is that my 2TB 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVME in M.2_1 is only getting speeds of PCIe gen 3 not gen 4 speeds. I have it set to full performance in Samsung Magician. My 1TB 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVME in M.2_3 and 500GB PCIe 3.0 NVME in M.2_4 get gen 3 speeds as well but I believe that is to be expected on any slot other than M.2_1.

It will be best if you share full details of your system and what is plugged where to get better help for your issues.
