Hello people, 4 weeks ago I did upgrade my PC with some nice parts:

Asus Rog Maximus Z790, Asus Rog Ryujin III 360 AIO, Asus TUF Gaming TF120, Rog Hercul X, Silverstone LSB02-E ARGB control box with remote. How do I connect all these things on my MB? I can't figure it out to get the lights in sync and the proper "out of the box" fan speed.

The Ryujin AIO is supplied with an RGB hub I think. I would have thought the manual would explain what you need to do? I don't have that AIO, but I would expect that it will control fan speed and RGB when connected to your fans.

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 4001, MEI 2433.6.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.35.2557, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Yes there is a wired controller but I don't whant wires sticking out of my rig. I purchased the Silverstone LSB02-E wich has wireless controllen and "buil in effects"

Hello Wybe

You didn't list your exact ROG Maximus Z790 motherboard. But, looking at the Hero, it has three ARGB headers. You could connect your ROG Ryujin 360 III, ROG HerculX, and the TF120 fan to an ARGB header and control/sync them with Armoury Crate.

Or, if you want to use the LSB02-E, there are instructions on how to hook everything up. It looks like you'd use the remote control and the silverstone effects.

There are detailed instructions here.

Hello Nate152

Thanks for your answer. I have this motherboard: Asus Rog Maximus Z790 Hero. Does it matter wich ARGB header I gonna use?

You're welcome

If you want to use Armoury Crate to control the led's, you'd use all three ARGB headers.

Your ROG Ryujin III 360 radiator will likely install at the top of the case, therefore A would be the ARGB header to use for it. There should be a 3-way fan splitter cable, connect the fan cable to the cpu fan header.

Be sure the arrow on the ARGB connector goes onto the +5v pin. It's marked on the motherboard at the header, a magnifying glass will help if you have trouble seeing it.

Don't use the RGB header that is to the left of B. Connecting an ARGB device to an RGB header will blow out the led's.

If you're not 100% sure about something, feel free to ask.

This is what I call support, thanks for that. I really appreciate it.

I will try it this afternoon or tomorrow becouse I'm busy today and will reply the outcome here.

Allright, I decided to purchased 2x 3 Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF 120 ARGB PWM fans and 1x Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF 140 ARGB PWM fan. It looks like it is easyer to connect and control. I feel sorry to say that Asus is hard to setup and control if you have purchased different product from Asus. If I disable and shutdown the lightning service from Asus, are the other controls still working for example: Asus Rog Ryujin III 360 AIO, and my mouse ROG Chakram + ROG Claymore II (And my 7.1 Asus headphone)  ???

once again thanks for helping

No, you'll need Armoury Crate for full lighting control of your peripherals. Plus, you'll have sound control for your headset which I believe you have the ROG Theta 7.1, you'll also get periodic updates in Armoury Crate.

With the gear you have, I would recommend using Armoury Crate, it's easy to use and get familiar with.

As an example for sound control, I'm using the ROG Delta S Animate.

For lighting control, you can sync your peripherals to the motherboard with Aura Sync or control them individually, simply check the box to sync them with the motherboard.

To set a lighting effect for your peripherals individually, go to the device page and click the lighting tab. Here's an example with the ROG Chakram X, I have the rainbow effect selected.

Alright, tomorrow I recieve my new fan's. I will put them in my render beast on Saturday and reply on Monday so I can try different setup options. Thanks goodness I still can use Armoury crate, I like the ui, still missing the option to dim the lights a bit.

You can leave this thread open so I can post my outcome.

Talk to you after the weekend.
