HOW Update the DRV Intel IRST in BIOS MAXIMUS Z790 Hero

How can I update the IRST DRV in BIOS on my ROG MAXIMUS Z790 Hero Black motherboard?
The current version is 19.5.0.1037, and I have downloaded the 20.2.1.1016 ZIP file.
I already have a RAID 1 setup with two 500GB M2 drives, using the M2 adapter that came with my motherboard when I purchased it new.
I can't find a way.

The  19.5.0.1037 version  is an EFI driver for the UEFI BIOS,  the 20.2.1.1016 is a driver for Windows, not UEFI.

The  EFI driver is only used while you are in the BIOS. When you boot to windows, the Windows driver is loaded and is used in Windows.  They are two separate beasts. The EFI driver enables you access your raid in the BIOS, the Windows driver enables you to  access your raid  in Windows.

The Windows driver can be updated by you, the EFI driver is sometimes updated when you update the BIOS (Asus updates it). The EFI driver is not as important.

To update the Windows driver, unzip  the 20.2.1.1016 zip file into a  folder,  go intto the install folder, and click on AsusSetup.exe

BTW, the 19 in the 19.5.0.1037 EFI driver version number is specific to your z790 chipset. It will always start with 19. not 20.

Thanks for your explanation, which I already more or less suspected from previous research, which, by the way, is very limited or nonexistent online, even for INTEL, WINDOWS, or MICROSOFT. I haven't looked in depth in this ASUS forum, but the RAID Configuration Guide (INTEL) documentation in SUPPORT doesn't quite explain the terms you've so well explained here.
THANK YOU
