Hello community,
I recently acquired a new PC, consisting of an ASUS Prime Z690-A and a Kingston FURY Renegade PCIe NVMe SSD.
I disabled the Intel VMD in the BIOS. My question is how can I verify, that Windows correctly recognized the drive as being an NVMe device, to ensure that it's talking via NVMe and not SCSI to it? In the device manager I see references to SCSI. I attached a screenshot.
It says "Standard NVM Express Controller", so yes, it's connected via NVME, you're good to go. If you'd like something more explicit, run HWInfo64 on your system.
