BIOS: 2801
Windows 11 pro, 24h2 all updated
Drivers updated. The processor is new (5 months old). Games crashes. System unstable.
No overclock, all default settings. Things went well for 4 months , now it's a mess again.
Is the intel 13-14 gen totally cursed?

Why this keeps happening? It's like all works fine for a while then sofware degrades. There have been no more bios updates, does intel and asus think everything is solved? It's just a mine problem?

The only way I got a stable system with Z790E WIFI and 14700F was to revert back to 2703. 2801 broke IRQ addressing (maybe it's just with the non-K I7, which are less common) which made the whole system unusable. Couldn't even successfully install Windows, or log into Linux without the nomodeset kernel flag, which bypasses a bunch of stuff for graphics including IRQ. Drives would be randomly invisible to the whole system including bios. With 2703 I have a rock solid system

I was suffering from the same problem despite the Intel settings, but recently Crash in the Warzone and the browser Opera .
After searching the solution is:
Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTu)
On the speed of 5300GZ@

Hi @Gabrihel
If the system is unstable at Optimised Defaults using Intel Default profile (no XMP overclocking), you will need to contact Intel. Or reduce the CPU frequency as suggested by another user in the thread.
