Is this new bios able to flash back to older bios's if necessary should it not be useable?

Yes it is, I had no luck with 3802 (blank screen after normal reboots) but I was able to go back to 3701... luckily I could get into BIOS again, but only after turning off the PSU. My advice is not to bother if you have 12th Gen.

Oh dear again I am yet to find a decent bios after 2802 for my 14900 KF, I'll skip this one again I think doesn't sound good, Thanks for that.

FWIW, 2802 seems to be working well for most people with 13th & 14th gen CPUs.
Unfortunately, @JohnAb didn't have a good experience on his 12900K. And since I've got a 12700KF on my Z690-F, like John, I'm holding off until ASUS provides a BIOS that works for ALL the CPUs for their Z690 boards.
I don't like to speak badly about ASUS's support, but this is not a good look. 😞

No I know what you mean, I have had several Asus boards and never had an issue only since getting 14th gen with this board and the later bios's overvolting the CPU hence why I stuck with my undervolt and 2802 for now.

Yes, I have this board and run bios 3802 since this weekend when the beta label disappeared and everything runs as it should - no issues so far.

Thanks, What CPU do you have?

It's a 13700k.

Thanks good to know, I may try it in a week or so after seeing what a few others say also.

I've been using 3802 on my system (same board) since the beta tag was removed with no issues. All completely stock BIOS values and Intel recommended, ASUS performance disabled. Using 13900K (Nov 2022) with all 4 DDR4 slots (128GB) and XMP enabled.
Just make sure you can downgrade your BIOS if you have issues.
