I just got an Asus Tuf Z790 Plus D4.
Realtek driver and DTS Audio Processing app installed.
I have Edifier S351DB, 2.1 speakers. I have connected the jack cable into the back green port, set it up as Front Speakers, then Large speaker on pop-up...But...
The problem is that the sound is flat, no bass. When pressing the DTS effects, it works a little. So, the DTS is processing the sound. But the general sound from Realtek is flat and no bass. I have the latest driver, version 6.0.9700.1.
Latest BIOS + reset.
And I am on Windows 11 24h2, latest version. Installed fresh.
I can confirm the speakers are working on Creative AE-5 sound card, punchy bass etc. Not defective. But I prefer Realtek.
Others have the same problem with flat sound? What can I do?? :((
