Well I was able to pick up this kit but can’t get it stable on the Apex Encore with the 14900k. Best result was 1 minute 45 seconds of ramtest. Typically errors within 7 seconds. Using XMP1 with all timings on auto.
VDD/VDDQ 1.5V.
MCC 1.5V.
SAV Manual Mode 1.37V.
CPU Input 2.0V.
Seemed to work much better with a bump in the CPU input Voltage. Reducing the SAV down to 1.15V doesn’t help. Tried several values in between of course. Lower value seemed to help some people with the same kit. Increasing the VDD/VDDQ induces as much instability as lower voltages. Tried reducing the MCC as well. Might be the IMC on this chip though. SP for the performance cores is 112 with the MC at 83 on bios 0601. Suggestions welcome. Continuing to tinker with free time. Thanks.

👍 What voltage was it in the end in your case?

SA 1.305v
IVR 1.34v
MCV 1.4v
the rest are XMP setting, I thing the major issue of the RAM is the plastic heatsink, its almost 50 Celsius when running the memtest even with another fan on top of the ram

MCVDD is quite low for those speeds, so reasonable CPU.
GSKILL don't put a pad on the PMIC for some reason. Lowering temps will certainly help if wanting to tune further.

MCSP from the 139ks is 87, but I really doubt that score can really tell you how good your IMC is. May I ask what ram you currently using?
I'm browsing the one from Acer, the predator Hermes 24gb Kits, not sure if that one is good on OC, but the heatsink seems decent.

87 is high. Yes, the MCSP is an indicator much like the P and E core SP. Only so much we can tell from the VID and testing is always the best method.
The kit the above profile is built on is the following: 48GB G.Skill DDR5 Trident Z5 RGB 8000MHz CL40 1.35V Dual Channel Kit 2x 24GB Silver: Amazon.co.uk: C...
Thermally most kits provide around the same level of performance, fitting aftermarket spreaders is probably the best thing you can do.
