Hi all,

Been reading through some of the issues posted here, but I'm not seeming to have any luck. I'm getting hundreds of these errors a minute.

The Error:

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error

My Machine:

bishop1965_0-1721074172453.png

Things I've tried:

  • Updated BIOS with latest release (7/14, even though it says 6/24) and set to default
  • Ran memtest (4 passes, 0 issues)
  • Ran Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool (Came back clean across the board)
  • Made sure my memory wasn't set to an XMP profile
  • Tried manually setting memory to 4800
  • Read somewhere setting the voltage on memory a little bit higher could help, no dice

Any help would be appreciated!

Try the following:

Disable PCI Express Native Power Mgt in BIOS (advanced tab, platform misc configuration)
Disable Native ASPM (Active State Power Management) (advanced tab, platform misc configuration)
Check that power savings in Link State Power Management in Windows (Edit Power Plan/ Advanced settings/ PCI Express/ Link State Power Management) is not set to maximum. Moderate should be OK.
