Hello,
I have ROG Maximus Apex Z790 motherboard. Can someone tell me how to enable it from bios since my computer doesnt recognise the card or m2 thats installed in it?
Thanks in advance.

You might need to enable it in BIOS, not sure about that, but is it missing drivers?

Yes probably from bios but I couldnt find where in bios. I dont think it has a driver.

No, it doesn't have a driver, the card is little more than contact redirection to the slot.
First off, which slot is it installed in?

Hi, there is only one slot I can put the card which is 2nx PCIEX slot, as I have 4090 installed on the other one.
I think I have to enable is from somewhere in bios but I just couldnt find it.

Which M2 SSD is it exactly (designation/name)?
In which M2 slot is it installed?
Normally nothing needs to be activated, as M2 SSD's are automatically recognized after installation.
If it is not, something went wrong during installation.

Hi, this is not about m2 slot.
Z790 Apex has PCi E M2 card thats coming with it. And it has 1 slot for m2 ssd. Problem is, computer doesnt recognise the card.

Sorry, my mistake.
is it the PCIe 5.0 M.2 card with heatsink that is mentioned in the details on the Asus website?
Which PCIe slot is it in exactly?
Is there already an M2 installed on it or is it installed without an M2?
Does the M2 card happen to require a 6+2 PCIe power cable from the power supply?
PS:
Look in the UEFI under "Advanced/Onboard Devices Configuration" for "PCIEX16 (G4) configuration". According to the manual, you should find it there..

I believe the config for it is in On Board Devices in the UEFI, but not 100% sure.
As far as Windows goes you will not see the card there, just the drives, but you have to choose the appropriate options first. The correct one is something like Dual M.2 NVME on Expansion Card, but it's not that lengthy a description... Something Like that, I'd have to go in and check mine to be sure.
That's assuming there are two on it, but there should be a selection for one as well.
Are your other M2's already populated?
