I hope there is a solution soon MoKiChU. I'm happy to go to Eleven Forum, but it would be great to be able to get all of your drivers from one place. The way things were working here on the old forum was great and one of the main reasons I'm active here was because of your driver updates. You do an amazing job looking after so many motherboard and chipset variants 👍

Hi!
I have an x670e HERO motherboard, and i have constant audio problems with it. I'm using my SPDIF out with a Sennheizer headset and it keeps crackling nonstop, it realy is anoying. I tried your drivers, with your cleanup method but it doesnt work unfotunately. If i manually delete the avolutesss3vad.inf with drivestore explorer sometimes the crackles stop, so it reduces the accurance. I even installed your drivers without any of the a-volute drivers, it work till one restart and windows automatically installed the nahimic driver. Please can you help me with this problem because it drives me crazy that this high tier and realy expensive motherboard can be so bad on driver front.

Hi,
1) Update your Realtek USB Audio Firmware to the last if it is not done yet (to run as admin) : https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/01AUDIO/USB_Audio_FW_Update_Tool_PID1A52_1A53_2022-12-05_ASUS....
2) You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process
3) Once it's done, follow these 2 TIPS (also visible at the bottom of the first post) :

Hi. Unfortunatelly it did not help. I'm at a crossroad now, because every time start my PC I have to fiddle with the drivers to get it working, either delete the avolue crap or reinstall the complete driver pack. This is a joke for a realy expensive product.

@MoKiChU I found an utility called SS3_Cleaner on an old thread from you. Is it still the recommended way to get rid of SS3?
PS. Thank you for your extraordinary contributions.
