TIPS :

Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Hi MoKiChU,
thanks again for this reply so far I do have a question if im actually using an audio interface do i even need to install asus drivers for anything? wouldnt it be even better to totally bypass them by not even installing them and deleting them with the driver store? or is there any benefit in having the realtek driver.

My motherboard is a Z670 Hero, I have no problem with this update.

Have you removed all traces of old drivers with DriverStoreExplorer?

What version is the correct version for the z790 hero. I'm not having crackling audio at all but I am getting random audiodg.exe crashes all the time. 73 in the last 2 days. New board, fresh install of windows 11. No idea what the issue is.

Mine is also a fresh install of windows 11 Pro, about 2 days ago.

Yes I followed Mr.M's, clean up process.

I am wondering if its because I am using the optical cable from my mobo to my logitech speakers???

Thanks for the reply man.

Hi,

Of course, since you are using Komplete Audio 6 (USB), I even suggest that you disable your audio controller in your BIOS before following your CLEANUP process.

Hi,

Follow the both processes listed at the bottom of all my audio drivers threads, in the TIPS category.

Also :

- 3.5mm : Do not go beyond 48000Hz 24Bits. If you go beyond 48000Hz 24Bits, DTS Sound Unbound will not work, and SS3 may generate crashes or lag spike with some apps/games.
- SPDIF/Optical : Do not go beyond sample rate & bit rate that your audio equipment can handle.

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Ok that worked using the 3.5 mm cable.

But now I have the 3 booms again at start up, lol, oh well. Will live with that.
