OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thanks

Hi,

Realtek never provides changelog, however I can tell you in general that the changes are adds of new hardware IDs, bug/security fixes, improvement of the sound spectrum, support for new games/apps/OS etc ...

Thanks for the feedback and great work.

Hello @MoKiChU

Sorry for wasting your time, but I'm a little newbie here.

I got TUF GAMING B550-PLUS with AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and in ASUS official page is this driver:

Realtek audio driver V6.0.8971.1 For Windows 10 64-bit.
Version: 6.0.8971.1
85.16 MB
2020/09/10
I install it, but it has not equalizer (seem's like I'm not only here on this forum with this problem...)
You probably fix this somewhere here, but it's 278 pages already and I cannot found correct.
Can u share me a post with correct one?
Thanks and greetings.

Hi,

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Also about EQ, since you have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, it is by design, it's intended to work like this at least for ASUS products : If a third party app is built-in (DTS Custom in your case), the equalization is done via the third party app/drivers.

@MoKiChU Oh, I kinda see it now. My key was to just put volume up to maximum and I kinda get it now. I can do it on DTS, but I must use one of 3 modes (surround mode, soundscape, 3d sound effect). There is no way to not use any of them (or I'm just stupid and cannot off it), but have a +15dB vol up?

Or better question is it possible to install this realtek without this ****** DTS? Because when I delete DTS Drivers by using DriverStoreExplorer Equalizer is finally showing up in Realtek Console, but not working

Since you are new here I wouldn't hold it against you, but as reminded to everyone in my previous post, I don't work for ASUS (everything I do for the ASUS ROG community is out of passion, on a voluntary basis). If you would like to know more about your motherboard features, please contact ASUS Support (I cannot answer all your questions about the use of your hardware/software for each of you, even if I wanted to).

If you get rid of DTS drivers, the EQ will be unhided from Realtek Audio Console but not functional (since your equalizer is based on DTS APO Drivers).

As workaround (at your own risk, this is obsolete for your motherboard) :

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process.
- Download Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers (HDA - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME DTS&RTK) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (Intel 6x/7x/8x/9x/1xx & AMD Legacy 6xx/7xx/8xx/9xx).
- Follow scrupulously the INSTALL process from ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME Realtek motherboards category.
