OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

If you are experiencing terrible Distortion in JRiver Media Center when using the Optical Interface then this is the fix:

In the WASAPI settings, change the bit-depth to "24-bit Integer (in a 32-bit package)". This is also called "24-bit Padded". That should do it.

When testing speakers in control panel and Realtek Audio console All speakers work. But playback of videos and music only come from Right speaker correctly while all others are muffled. I thought this was going to solve the problem. Uninstalled and cleaned drivers with restarts. Followed Link download Reinstalled Realtek console from microsoft store and the problem remains.
Just bought Crosshair Dark Hero VIII AMD 5900x 64GB RAM SSD DRIVE WINDOWS 10 installed from usb boot drive. Please Help! I used ROG SS3/DTS download.

Good morning, i recently bought an ASUS TUF GAMING H570 PRO and i suffer from "No Equalizer" in speakers disease too. Can you tell me which driver version i can install? The H570-PRO has the Realtek1200A codec. Thanks

Hi Guys, I have a x570 Plus BR TUF motherboard, and it doesn't seems to have an equalizer built in for the speakers/headset, is that true or just a driver issue?

Hi,

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom MB) from the first post of this thread

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Note : The equalization is done via DTS Custom app (The equalization is done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app only for SPDIF).

@ All others who report issues : I remind you that I do not work for ASUS :

- If your issue occurring with drivers from your motherboard support page (and therefore that it is not specific to the drivers that I propose) : Open a ticket with ASUS Support.
- If your issue didn't occurring with drivers from your motherboard support page : CLEANUP process then install/use the drivers package from your motherboard support page.

Thanks you very much for the answer. Is there anyway to get Equalizer back to Speakers instead of DTS Custom APP like the others versions of realtek?

Hi,

With regard to ASUS products, if Third Party app using an APO (SS3, DTS Sound Unbound, DTS:X Ultra, DTS Headphone:X v1, DTS Custom ...) is installed, the equalization is done via Third Party app, if Third Party app is not installed, the equalization is done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app.

So normally, if DTS Custom app is installed, the equalization is done via DTS Custom app, if DTS Custom app is not installed, the equalization is done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app.

However if this is not the case for you (if DTS Custom app is not installed, and you still do not see the equalizer in Realtek Audio Control/Console app), since your issue occurring with drivers from your motherboard support page (and therefore that it is not specific to the drivers that I propose) : Open a ticket with ASUS Support.

Thanks, i'll open a ticket with ASUS because even only with the drivers installed, with no DTS custom app installed, i dont see the equalizer in Realtek Audio Control for the Speakers.
