OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thread updated.

Thank you @MoKiChU. STAY WELL!

Good day!

Apologies for bringing this up.
Could you please suggest which driver package I should use for my mobo?
I've got Z390 Maximus XI Hero.
Been using "- Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB)" one for a while, but want to make sure that this is the intended one.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for quick response!
Have a nice day.

Hi,

I have an Asus Rog Maximus XIII Hero motherboard, so I must install these drivers: ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound Intel/AMD motherboards - correct ?

88800

88801

I have installed the drivers in the way you suggested (before this I cleaned all the drivers as you explained) but the

Realtek Audio Control/Console app doesn't install automatically and when I try to download this app from the Microsoft Store I cannot download it because I get this error: 0x803FB005

How can I solve this issue ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

1) You are in the wrong thread (I have already told you which thread is the correct one for your motherboard).
2) You have not installed the drivers package that I indicated to you.

So please follow the instructions I gave you (rigorously this time, please), and no longer post in this thread which does not concern your motherboard :

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound Intel motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Intel MB) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek USB Audio (MB | Intel 5xx & AMD TRX40)

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hi,

i am using the B550-F Gaming and i have big Issues with my onboard Audio. When i using your Drivers , or the Drivers from the Website , the Audio is a bit delayed, especially in Games.

For Example: You take a Shot in Call of Duty , you see your shot and shortly after that comes the sound, it´s very little Delay, but you feel it and this is annoying.

Or when i do the little Sound Test in Realtek Console, it´s delayed too.

I can fix this with the Setting "Disable all Audio Enhancements" than the Delay is completely gone, but than i can´t use SonicStudio, DTS and so on

I´ve reinstalled Windows completely and test all Driver Version that i can find. I use a standard 2.1 Speaker Systen and for Gaming a Stereo Headset.

Have someone an Idea?

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) from the first post of this thread.

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process.

For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

Also, in order to enhance your DPC latency, follow this process (also visible in TIPS at the bottom of all my audio drivers threads) :

1) Disable hibernation :

- Right-click Windows Start button then click Search.
- Search for cmd. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator.
- If/When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
- At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off and then press Enter then close the Command Prompt

2) Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_util_v3.exe" > Run as administrator), then Apply, then close MSI Mode Utility & restart your PC

Note : Once all these steps have been followed to the letter, if you are still not happy with your input lag, as this also occurs with drivers from your motherboard support page : Open a ticket at ASUS Support.

Hi everyone,

REMINDER @ Everyone (but more precisely to those who use Windows 11) : Check that the Enhance audio/Signal Enhancements setting is enabled (otherwise your audio effects will not work) :

Windows 11

Right click on sound icon tray > Audio settings > Click on your audio output/input devices to enter in their Properties :

Windows 10

Right click on sound icon tray > Sound > Playback/Recording tab > Click on your audio playback/recording devices > Properties > Advanced tab :
