OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thanks MoKiChU!

Reinstalled Windows a week ago and got around that A-Volute/Sonic Studio malware with those drivers ❤️ (never installed the armoury crate on purpose, too)
They work like a charm and i have no useless gamebreaking virtual sound device anymore on my Crosshair VIII Dark Hero 🙂

I only have the issue, that i can't download the Realtek console from the Windows store anymore, and according to the last reviews there, i'm not the only one.
It seems to be delisted, too.

Is there any standalone version one can use?
I found a few results using google, but some of them seem to be shady or not a recent version.

Thank you!

Hey there, thanks for all the updates.

Riot Vanguard (Valorant) flags Avolute SS3 , is there any way to avoid this?

I didnt have this problem back in the day / Latest windows 11, all updated.

Cheers!

Anyone can help with this?

Hi,

It seems to be the case since an Vanguard update from Riot this week, you have to report this to Riot and/or ASUS (by contacting ASUS Support and/or open a thread here : ROG Care - Hardware & Software Support) so that they forward to A-Volute/Steelseries so that they works with Riot to fix this.

In the meantime, as workaround follow this process :

- Press Windows key + X > "Device Manager" > "Sound, video and game controllers" category
- Disable your Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer device by right-click Disable device then restart your PC

Thank you!
Cleaned up and Installed the correct drivers and removed the "Third Party" folder and it works like a charm. And this time the Realtek Console did install correctly 🙂

Hey guys, I'm using an ASUS Prime B450M-A and the latest drivers from Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK) broke my back panel, it can no longer recognize my Microphone, and when I try to reconnect it, the entire Realtek Audio option disappears (means no audio as well).

I been using this driver package for months now with no issues, with only the latest one giving this problem, I even tried to do a clean install to no vail.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, and I apologise in advance, if it's indeed a driver bug the warning was given.

Hi everyone,

As reminder, I do not work for ASUS and I will not provide you full support instead of ASUS Support, I only provide you install/update support for the drivers packages that I offer. So :

- If you have an issue that only occurring with the last audio drivers package that I offer : Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then install the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page.

- If you have an issue that already occurring with the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page (and therefore that issue is not specific to the last drivers package that I offer) : Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then install the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page & contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread in this category : Hardware & Software Support.

Hi Mokichu,

I recently got a ROG Strix Scar laptop, it is G533ZW-XS96 and it looks like it uses Realtek audio. I am not sure which driver package I should use, could you point me in the right direction?

Thank you for everything.

Hi,

It was the only workaround allowing you to not lose the use of SS3 and its features/enhancements. If you don't mind losing the use of SS3, follow the instructions given here (with Realtek Only install type) : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?127457-Remove-Sonic#post854207.

Hi,

I don't offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my field : DIY PC/Motherboards (hence the fact that my threads are in PC Components category).

Please refer to your product support page to download the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issue with them, please contact ASUS Support).

Hi Mokichu, thank you for your response, yes, I remember now that you had mentioned this before. Apologies, I must have forgotten about it. I still have my PC so I am looking forward to new drivers as always, thank you again.

Hey...
I've got the Rog Strix B550-F Gaming (WIFI) and im fighting with my sound....
from what i could read i should use the ss3-DTS driver...
And now im missing my Realtec console, so i cant meddle with my sound, bass trebel or set length of my cables.
The Sonic 3 is there but only Basic...
Plz
What to do... Or should i try the Unbound ?
or a third setup...
.
