OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Hi @MoKiChU
Many Thx for this Thread!

About which apps are talking about?

I've got an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G 14 GA401QM with ALC285 ; which drivers should I use?
++NoNo

Hi,

I don't offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my field : DIY PC/Motherboards (hence the fact that my threads are in PC Components category).

Please refer to your product support page to download the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issue with them, please contact ASUS Support).

Hi everyone. Im posting here cause idk what can i do. I have ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING mobo and I downloaded the "outdated" realtek drivers throught asus support page and after installing the drivers and rebooting no realtek drivers showing up in device manager or anywhere. I found this thread and i installed "ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards" as Mokichu recommended (with CLEAN installation step by step) to others users with same mobo but nothing changes.
I have disabled fast boot on windows and mobo but no effects. Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try this : Turn off your PC > Turn off your PSU for 15 sec > Turn on your PSU > Turn on your PC.

If your issue persists, since the issue already occurring with the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page (and therefore that issue is not specific to the last drivers package that I offer) : Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then install the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page & contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread in ROG forum in this category : Hardware & Software Support.

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Thread, post & drivers packages updated.

Hello,

I have a problem with a Asus B660 F gaming wifi and audio driver. My headset don't work properly, my microphone is very very low...And my headset (Sennheiser GSP 500) isn't recognised as a headset when I plug it in. I've deleted and reinstalled driver many times, nothing works. I've follow Mokichu post (Realtek Audio Drivers UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS for my case) to reinstall properly the driver but nothing works (realtek audio console doesn't open, RPC error). A driver named USB2Audio seems to be reinstalled with every reboot of windows 11....
Can someone help me ? Excuse for my english, I'm French and don't usually write in another language.
Thanks in advance for your answer !

Hi MoKiChU

Really appriciate all your time and effort on these driver updates and install support, not sure if I've stumbled on an issue or quirk but I find using Displayport to my monitor can often give crackles and pops through it's built in speakers, but switching my monitor cable over to HDM1 2.0 resolves this.
Driver changes do not seem to improve, sticking with HDMI currently 🙂

Hi,

Note that when you use an audio stream via HDMI or via DisplayPort, you do not go through your Realtek audio chipset from your motherboard (and Realtek audio drivers for your motherboard) but through your audio chipset from your graphics card (via the NVIDIA High Definition Audio device in your case), even if you have SS3 and you are applying the effects of SS3 to your HDMI/DiplayPort audio streams. So an update of the drivers that I propose here will not solve your issue in any way. Rather, look for the release of new NVIDIA audio drivers. However you can use these 2 tips to improve or fix your issue.

Hi

Thanks for the quick reply, monitor only used when it's late, Logitech Z906 during daytime 😄

Was curious as to if this monitor audio issue was tied to the Maximus as my previous Z370 board was a Gigabyte and this crackle issue was not apparent when using the same RTX2080TI.

Asus Audio through the speakers sounds great and i've not had any pop/crackle issues during games or media even when CPU loads are high, which from what i've read seems a common problem.

Salad 😄

can anyone help me to how to install driver without sonic studio virtual mixer please !!!
even i install ss3 cmd its always install and i cant run adobe premier pro its say always audio hardware change and sonic studio virtual mixer dont even work i have H270F ROG motherboard
