OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Asus Prime Z690-P D4
I have a 5.1 speaker set up (no centre speaker).
I can't my rear speakers to play the proper sound: the sample sound in Audio Console plays only the bass notes, like for the subwoofer, but none of the higher notes are audible.
What could I be doing wrong?

Hi,

If you don't have a center speaker, it's not a 5.1 sound system. Please refer to this FAQ : https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1045991

Connect to 4-channel speakers :

Connect front speaker to lime port, connect rear speaker to black port as shown below :

@ Everyone : I want to clarify to everyone that that I do not replace ASUS Support team, if you have any questions regarding the use of your product, contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread here : Hardware & Software Support.

Thanks for the update.

But I think something is off with the update process.
Every time I do an update my sound is weird after this.
Sound is flatter and sometimes there is sound distortion on the left channel.

Hi, i have a rog strix x670e-f, which drivers do i need?

Hello, cannot get the Realtek Audio Console to work. "Realtek Audio Cannot connect to RPC service" I have tried the Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) and followed the meticulous install docs on a fresh windows 11 install. Sonic Studio works but no Realtek Audio Console. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @MoKiChU
Many Thx for this Thread!

About which apps are talking about?

I've got an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G 14 GA401QM with ALC285 ; which drivers should I use?
++NoNo

Hi,

I don't offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my field : DIY PC/Motherboards (hence the fact that my threads are in PC Components category).

Please refer to your product support page to download the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issue with them, please contact ASUS Support).

Hi everyone. Im posting here cause idk what can i do. I have ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING mobo and I downloaded the "outdated" realtek drivers throught asus support page and after installing the drivers and rebooting no realtek drivers showing up in device manager or anywhere. I found this thread and i installed "ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards" as Mokichu recommended (with CLEAN installation step by step) to others users with same mobo but nothing changes.
I have disabled fast boot on windows and mobo but no effects. Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try this : Turn off your PC > Turn off your PSU for 15 sec > Turn on your PSU > Turn on your PC.

If your issue persists, since the issue already occurring with the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page (and therefore that issue is not specific to the last drivers package that I offer) : Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then install the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page & contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread in ROG forum in this category : Hardware & Software Support.
