Hi,

Try this : Launch Realtek Audio Control/Console > Device advanced settings tab > Playback Devices : Check Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously (circled in red in the screenshot below) :

Hi,

You're welcome, you can use the star at the bottom left of my posts ( ) in order to give me reputation points if not done yet, and have a minimum of gratitude towards the work that I provide for free out of passion, nothing else (I do not ask for a donation or anything like some do not hesitate to do so).

Thanks for the update MoKiChU.

Did anyone manage to get the Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer working? I'm trying to set up a fast and easy NVidia ShadowPlay recording gameplay. I've added Modern Warfare to the audio stream but it can't pick up any of the ingame sound (even when I switch to the manual mixer manually) 🙂

Hi,

Sorry i don't use it (since i'm not a streamer or youtuber, I have no interest in using it). However theoretically it should work by configuring your usual audio input/output as default via Windows/Realtek Audio Control and you must only select Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer on the recording software. If you've set it up that way, maybe it doesn't work on NVIDIA ShadowPlay yet, try it out with OBS or others, but anyway I can't give you more support on this feature.

Official overview :

SONIC STUDIO VIRTUAL MIXER
A virtual audio device that lets streamers combine sound output and output from different apps. This allows you to mix your voice and video game audio within streaming software. A variety of adjustment and monitoring tools provide a high level of digital control.

Hi,

This issue (game crash) has nothing to do with my drivers package, it's this game that has a issue with the latest NH3/SS3 APO v1.7.2.0 and the latest SS3 app v3.16.8.0 which are also offered via Windows Update/Microsoft Store (so rollback would be useless, unless you block Windows Update & Microsoft Store updates).

- Send a detailed request by email to A-Volute Support (the creator of Sonic Studio/Nahimic) : support@nahimic.helprace.com
- Send a detailed request to Forza Support : https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

In the meantime you have to uninstall SS3 if want to play this game.

I used it the other day to record some game audio and it worked ok for me.

Thank you very much for your contribution that helped me a lot. however i have a short question my friend. when i open the sonic studio 3 and go to the record studio tab to activate the direct monitor and acoustic echo cancellation, the function does not stay activated. so if i close the program and open it again, the information is lost, do you have the same problem?

Hi,

You already asked me the question by PM, and I answered you, why you spam this question here and there ?

So, for the last time, I do not use these functions but that I can reproduce this issue, and root cause of this issue is SS3 app, so there is nothing i can do about it.

Send a detailed request by email to A-Volute Support (the creator of Sonic Studio/Nahimic) so that they can fix this for the next version of the SS3 app : support@nahimic.helprace.com
