OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

For some reason Amplify level disappears when playing some games, for example Conan Exiles, under Windows 11 (Never had this problem on Win 10), I've tried different versions and nothing.

Hi,

You have to report this to Microsoft and/or ASUS (by contacting ASUS Support and/or open a thread here : ROG Care - Hardware & Software Support), so that they forward to Realtek, A-Volute (if they can reproduce your issue) ...

Hi everyone,

I remind to everyone that I do not work for ASUS, Realtek, A-Volute (SS3) or Xperi (DTS).

- If you have an issue with drivers from this thread : Follow your CLEANUP process then install the drivers from your motherboard support page.
- If you have an issue with drivers from your motherboard support page : Open a ticket with ASUS Support, they will forward to Realtek, A-Volute (SS3), Xperi (DTS) and/or Microsoft if they manage to reproduce your issue.

I have some issue installing/updating the driver. I'm stuck at the screen for a while and it looks like some of the components have failed to install then the computer restarts after a while.

Hi,

They have not failed to install, these messages just indicates that the driver is already present and installed (no new driver to install).

Also regarding the stuck time, it's not an issue, just be patient, DTS APO4x Extension Driver folder contains more than 6000 files in more than 200 subfolders.

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

While playing PUBG on Windows 11, sound suddenly decreases and amplify disappears in the control panel.
Is there a solution to this?

Hi,

- If you have an issue with drivers from this thread : Follow your CLEANUP process then install the drivers from your motherboard support page.
- If you have an issue with drivers from your motherboard support page : Open a ticket with ASUS Support (and/or you can post in ROG Care - Hardware & Software Support section), they will forward to Realtek, A-Volute (SS3), Xperi (DTS) and/or Microsoft if they manage to reproduce your issue.

The screen is locked when I open SS3 and stays for 15s like this then the error message appears again
I'm already tired of it
