OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thank you. I followed all the steps and it installed but the DTS doesn't seem to work, here is a screenshot

. Although I don't really need the DTS for anything, my Home-cinema has native scaler to transform the stereo into 5.1 (in stereo movies or Music), in movies with the native DTS/Dolby Digital it is already automatically recognized by the Homecinema itself. I just want the SPDIF to sound amplified, I want the sound to be louder than with the conventional drivers from the asus website: https://www.asus.com/es/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-Z690-PLUS-D4/Help...

I assume those are HDA, how do I know if amplification is enabled, or is DTS required for some reason to be working? Thanks.

Hi,

The amplification is only for your 3.5mm jack outputs, not for your SPDIF/Optical output. Also, DTS Audio Processing is dedicated to your 3.5mm jack outputs.

I'm feeling clueless and lost here as to which Realtek driver should I install for my ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi motherboard?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek USB Audio (MB | Intel 5xx/6xx/7xx & AMD 5xx/6xx/TRX40).

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Also, updates your Realtek USB Audio Firmware to the last if it is not done yet (to run as admin) : https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/01AUDIO/USB_Audio_FW_Update_Tool_VID0B05_2021-11-25_ASUS.zip

Thank you. And any way to amplify also the sound by SPDIF? maybe some driver mod? I just can't find a way, I look at Techpowerup forums and I don't see a way either (I say that forum because that's where I got those drivers that amplified the SPDIF output on my previous Z370 E Gaming. Thank you

Sorry, modding is not my field.

Hi,

There is nothing wrong, the issue is on your side :

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process

Question for you @Mokichu:

Why the Drivers from the forum don't install the DTS Components?

Thx.

Since the 6.0.9251.1 WHQL drivers, there has been a major change made by Realtek regarding the drivers package type dedicated to your motherboard, which fact that DTS APO4x Core Sofware Component & DTS APO4x Service Sofware Component are no longer used by the new drivers package type architecture.

fihnakis wrote:
I think my question was going to be pretty much what you just asked. Previously on my ASUS Rog Crosshair VIIII Formula board using Mokichu drivers I always had DTS connect and iirc DTS Live options in Realtek Console digital out panel. Now its just setting to change sample rate.

It fixes the issue with Sonic Studio 3 closing by itself after some seconds?

My problem is:

When i open SS3, makes the NAHIMIC service to close by itself and ofc. SS3 close too, because it needs that service to be running to work.

https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?117596-DRIVERS-Realtek-Audio-(MB-Intel-2xx-3xx-4xx-5xx-6xx...

(Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB)

PD: Also, when i use the FIX my Applications configs doesn't show up.

This is random bug in Sonic studio 3 (crash on advanced mode tab open. Also it crush nahimic service) Try to quick selecting basic mode
(It happens to me, too, and sometimes you have to try 10+ times.)

This is terrible buggy software

You launch fix with admin?
Also you should install realtek audio console (uwp version from MS store)

And yes. Try this driver for test:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rnHEspJtwwQBmLm0c8Ekp-qaHHDGqNdU/view?usp=sharing
(ss3, console, dts included, official signed)
