OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

It freakin` works, the EQ appears now in Realtek Audio Console for SPDIF with the 9264.1 Gen 1 driver.

For those that want or need the EQ for SPDIF in Realtek Audio Console use the Gen 1 driver, but before installing from 9250.1 or older follow exactly the CLEAN UP process, and I can`t stress that enough.

Thanks a lot MoKiChU, you are the man.

Take care, stay safe.

Many thanks to MOKICHU, everything really works !! for Windows 11 ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI)
Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) 6.0.9264.1 WHQL [09/11]

Super!!!

Thanks alot for your hard work!
I installed the new SS3-DTS Gen1 driver and the equalizer now works on SPDIF. Also the DTS service gets installed like before which blocks the equalizer from showing up on Speakers:
90737

The workaround I use is disabling the DtsApo4Service from services.msc or killing DtsApo4Service.exe from Task Manager. This brings the equalizer correctly to Speakers:
90738

You might need to re-enable the service if you want to use DTS Sound Unbound.

Unfortunately it doesn't work, it stops here and doesn't do anything, trying on brand new clean windows 11!

Hi Guys,

I guess I'm really confused about which drivers I'm supposed to use for my "ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero Wifi" with an Intel I9-11900K.

In the Device Manager, I am showing that the audio driver is a Realtek USB2.0 Audio...according to Microsoft Drivers. These are working ok, No popping at start up, when using Windows 10 Pro (20H1, 20H2, 21H1 or 21H2)

90772

But as soon as I install these ASUS ROG SS3, of any version, the speakers immediately start to pop, twice then pause then one more pop.

I have tried every 6.3.69xx version, and it does this. One of the thing I noticed is when you install one of these drivers, the device manager show that it becomes a "Realtek USB Audio" 6.3.96xx.xx. and not a "Realtek USB2.0 Audio"

I can revert back to the Microsoft Version, and all is good again. Am I using the right drivers for the ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero WIFI??

I have done clean installs of Windows 10 Pro each time and same results. Is there a Realtec USB2.0 Audio version...??

I can't seem to get any driver working with the Rog Strix B550-E Gaming WiFi

I did have it working (including the audio USB type-C) but accidentally installed Sonic Studio and tried to remove, which now means nothing seems to install (I've removed the inf files) but Windows Store won't install the Realtek Control Panel (or whatever it's called).

Hi,

Re-download your Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) Gen1 or Gen2 (Recommended) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hi MoKiChU, just wanted to confirm the correct driver package for my motherboard, as I'm a bit confused by the new dichotomy (Gen1/Gen2) on the ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound drivers. Based on what I've been able to determine, it looks the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero W-Fi utilizes the SupremeFX S1220 audio codec (a rebadged Realtek ALC1220). That leads me to believe Gen1 is the correct driver download for this, but I would appreciate it if you could confirm.

Also, it seems there was a major change in these drivers that requires a full cleanup and re-install, correct? Thanks much!

Note: AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3-DTS_MB_v6.0.9254.1.zip is the last version that I installed, fwiw.
