OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

@Mokichu

There must be a better solution, these are temp workarounds anyways...

It would be better if we knew what is causing the issue. I used to download your realtek drivers and not need to do anything but "Install"

I wonder if your issues are local to your setup as I just download the drivers and click on install without any issues.

Sonic Studio 3 got an update today throught M$ Store.

Hm!

Hi again,

I think I managed to do all the steps.

I open the Realtek Audio Console, select quadrophonic, tests the setup and all speakers work playing the test sound. But when I try to play music or anything, only the first speaker pair (green connector) plays - not the black connector.

This is driving me insane! Could there be some rerouting going on that I am not aware of?

Hi

The music is in stereo, so it is normal that there are only your 2 front speakers which reproduce it.

If you want to reproduce the sound on your quadrophonic speakers whatever the content (Stereo, 5.1, 7.1 ...), you must enable Upmix / Surround from SS3 effects settings : Sonic Studio III > Sonic Studio > Basic Mode > Sonic Studio Effects (ON) : Check Upmix / Surround.

Ok, it's me being an ignorant. I supposed what I could connect two pairs or speakers to blue and some other color connector and make them output one source of sound (like it did with my old MB). Now I connected the second pair of speakers to the front blue connector and it works. Yay!

I just need to figure out why neither Skype or Google Meet accepts my microphone. Google Meet actually crashes. Skype isn't receiving any sound. I have tried both a headset to pink and a camera cam Rode mic to pink, and in Windows Sound settings the sound input shows and is registered. Tested with Microsoft Sound Recorder (simple app) and it receives input and plays back. But not Google Meet and Skype.

Thanks for all the help. I will have to keep digging in the mic problem.

Thank you for your help, but in my case, the equalizer does not want to appear in Realtek Audio Control(oh, I'll go cry

I just explained to you that the equalization is done via DTS Custom app (circled in red below), not via Realtek Audio Control app :

well, that's right, with DTS Custom, there is an equalizer for headphones, and for the 5.1 system (speakers)this, as I understand it, does not work?.that is, there is an equalizer only for sound through headphones and it is not provided for 5.1?or am I misunderstanding something?

Normally, if you uninstall/disable DTS Custom app, the equalization will be done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app.

However if this is not the case for you (if DTS Custom app is not installed/enabled, and you still do not see the equalizer in Realtek Audio Control/Console app) : Open a ticket with ASUS Support.

Thank you for your advice and an attempt to help,I will try further)
