OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Hi, I'm new to the forums.
I have a Maximus XIII Hero board, I've already downloaded and installed the Retaltek driver from ASUS own driver page, but it doesn't come with the Sonic Studio software.

I'm bit confused which driver to download here...can someone point me to the right direction ? Thank You.

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound Intel motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Intel MB) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek USB Audio (MB | Intel 5xx & AMD TRX40)

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Installed everything but it just crashes when in advanced mode then i get an error saying ''the current system is not supported, or the audio driver has not been properly installed'' timeout

Sweet, I got it working ! Finally !
If you don't mind me asking, why didn't the Realtek driver I downloaded from ASUS page include the Sonic Studio software, what's worst is why is it in MS Store ?
Also when I tried to search it myself manually I can't even find it....

Because of Microsoft DCH Design Principles and Best Practices :

Hardware support applications associated with your driver package must be distributed through the Microsoft Store.

Hi,

No you can't, these audio drivers are ASUS specific.

However, in order to help you out as you are a former ROG member (and possibly future, who knows), I have sent you a PM with the correct information for your motherboard.

Hi,

Since you also have issue with the drivers package from your motherboard support page (and therefore the issue is not specific to the drivers package from my thread) > Open a ticket with ASUS Support.

is asio component needed or safe to disable if I only play games or listen to music?

There is nothing to disable, either you use it and in this case you must configure it in a software that knows how to use it, or you do not use it and in this case you have nothing to do.

Hi. I don't see anymore gain control in realtek audio console. I had normal, more loud and extreme settings. Why it's not avaliable anymore?
I use z370-f gaming.

Hi,

Unplug then plug your audio connection then restart your PC.

What do you mean with "nothing to disable"? The asio component in device manager can be disabled.

Thread updated.

Wow MoKiChU, that was a quick version change(and a big one too, from 9160 tp 9172) thanks;)

So the new DTS drivers for my X570-E work fine except that the DTS app auto starts when my PC comes on and even when it resumes from sleep. And every time it changes my audio settings. It just won't stay off. Plus it often spams notifications that it is Enabled. Anyone know of a simple way of fixing this?

Just don't install (or uninstall if it installed automatically) DTS app if you are not using it.
