OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Im having a real nightmare with the audio on my b550-e. Desktop and video volume is ok but gaming audio is terrible I have to apply the maximum amplification and extreme smart volume on sonic studio just to get acceptable volume (now my audio lacks direction and sounds fairly distorted)
Its almost like my volume is being limited by software. Ive tried these drivers, the windows drivers and now my current official drivers.
Ive tried fresh install bought new headphones tried various different windows tweaks but had no joy. *Im praying you have a solution for me mokichu as Im all out of ideas.

Headsets tried : sennheiser gsp 500 & Beyerdynamic dt 880.

Thanks

Ps can you advise the correct driver just in case I have done something wrong.*

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Note : Try by connecting your headsets via the ROG audio USB Type-C cable supplied with your motherboard (USB-C male end to be plugged into the female USB-C port next to your audio jacks, female jack end to be connected to the male jack port of your headsets).

Thanks for the response, Sadly I have no audio at the usb-c port so not sure what the type c cables function actually is. I also downloaded and installed your drivers as per your guide but for some reason had no audio after so I have reverted back to official drivers again for now.Â*

I don't know if it's just me being lucky, but I gotta admit I've never had any issues with these drivers across different motherboards. Thanks for all your hard work, @MoKiChU 😄
In space no one can hear you scream.

Hey I'm using "Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB)" think is the right one for Z390-F. I have a few questions

- "upmix/surround" in ss3 does nothing on my speakers, what does that setting do?
- is asio component needed or safe to disable if I only play games or listen to music?

Hi which should I use for Strix B550-F GAMING please?
I tried Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) and I don't get any audio unless I uninstall again

Thanks

/!\ Note /!\

Before doing anything, check that you meet the OS requirements at the bottom of all my threads :

OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit 1803/RS4/17134.x or more recent (20xx/VB/1904x.x or more recent for some Third Party drivers).

If you meet the OS requirements :

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

- Verify that Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer is disabled :

- If you have installed Sonic Studio III : Sonic Studio III > Record Studio > Virtual Mixer > Virtual Mixer : Off

- If you haven't installed Sonic Studio III : Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers > Right-click the Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer device and select Disable

Thx for your effort and dedication, but I think the whole Windows Universal Driver **** doesnt work well with each update from store or windows drivers update ( which I've already disabled ), but still Nahimic component and A-Volute are kept being updated ...

I think Asus should reconsider working with Nahimic to provide the whole package for Extra Sound settings ... Coz nahimic 2, followed by 3 on Unified era is working well for ages from the start of Win10 Unified Driver ( it had it's bug, but it was fixed VERY QUICKLY ! And the same bug never appeared again. had a MSi board with ALC 1220 ), I understand SupremeFX is their own implementation of the ALC1220 codec but the sofware part sucks ?

For now, I can live with the basic Realtek Audio Control ...

Ok, so no DTS for my C7H?

No, DTS Sound Unbound it is not built-in with your current motherboard (if you ever upgrade to C8H, DTS Sound Unbound will be built-in and you will have to use the SS3-DTS drivers package).

However if you really want to have DTS Sound Unbound with your current motherboard, you can try/buy it directly through the app : DTS Sound Unbound.

Great! All software Working
- Realtek Audio Control/Console after rebooting, installed manually from Windows Store
- Install Sonic Studio III : From your latest Link
- Install Sonic Radar III (Optional) : From your latest Link

You're a Master.

Now i only need to fix a problem with my ASUS BT400 BT Module, it seems my Sony MDR-1000X can't play sound form the PC, i guess it has not enough services Activated...

Any suggestion is welcomed
