OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

No you can't install/use drivers package not designed for your motherboard, but know that installation of third party apps (Sonic Studio III & Sonic Radar III in your case) is not imperative with the drivers package designed for your motherboard (SS3 MB in your case).

But the driver still went in and work up using RTK version from my side, do I need to uninstall away the RTK version and install the SS3 version in my case? Just that the Realtek control on MS all along I cant install as keep getting "error" since last times already.

When you use a drivers package that is not designed for your motherboard, you only install the main driver, and therefore you do not install the Realtek Extension Driver dedicated to your motherboard type, and therefore the Realtek HSA SoftwareComponent Driver dedicated to obtaining your Realtek Audio Control will not be installed (this is why you can't install it).

So yes, as indicated above, follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process with the drivers package designed for your motherboard, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Realtek should really employ all their Audio drivers in ONE package. The fact that there are different driver packages even for Asus Z490 motherboards alone is stupid.

Hi everyone,

The Third Party DTS APO4x Core SoftwareComponent|SoftwareDevice Driver have been updated.

Thread, post & drivers package updated.

Thank you as always!!

Quick question: as only a single component of the driver has been updated, you kept the same package name, right? Because I had already that pack downloaded..

In case YES, should I just go for UPDATE?

Thanks for the clarification! 🙂

Hi,

You use the correct drivers package.

All the devices listed in Audio inputs and outputs category in your Device Manager are system devices, using system drivers which are not meant to be updated (whose version corresponds to the version of the system, Windows 11 21H2/CO/22000.x in your case).

The correct device to check in your Device Manager is Realtek(R) Audio device in Sound, video and game controllers category.
