Hardware requirements : Intel Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth controller.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If experiencing dropouts on the 225 or 226 NIC, the latest driver contains the mitigation fix to resolve the issue.

Hi,

It's a mitigation fix, the disabling by default the EEE feature is only temporary at this point, a robust fix is being worked on by Intel.

Its a kind of strange, but my mobo want work with drivers with version 2.x.x.x only 1.x.x.x. When I will install latest drivers from ASUS website (i225 here -Z590A Strix) after restart lan not working, yellow exclamation mark in device manager. This is happening from when I've bought this mobo in summer 2021. It doesn't matter OS Windows 10/11.

Hi,

Please refer to this post : https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/intel-700-600-series/intel-ethernet-drivers-question/m-p/902806/highli...

If you switch from Windows 10/NDIS Drivers (1.x.x.xx) to Windows 11/NetAdapterCx Drivers (2.x.x.xx) or the opposite, reset the network : Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset > Reset now > Yes > Restart your PC.

The Ethernet controller firmware is not doomed to be updated except in very specific cases, and if this is the case you will find the correct Ethernet controller firmware for your motherboard Ethernet controller in your motherboard support page (I do not advise you to trying to update it in a roundabout way, you risk making things worse rather than fixing anything).

Hi MoKiChU - thank you. I just installed these on my 690 Hero and they seem to be working fine. However, I note that you list several versions of Bluetooth drivers according (to what I assume) is the Bluetooth chip on the motherboard? Could you advise where we need to look to get that information - I can't find anything that seems to match the codes/numbers that are in your list. I can only see that my motherboard is "Bluetooth v5.2 hardware ready". Not a priority at all, just interested to learn. Thanks.

Hi,

You just need to refer to your WiFi controller device.

Brilliant - I didn't realise that the same chip controls Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I kind of assumed they would be listed separately. Looks like I have the AX210 chip. Thank you MoKiChU.

FYI, there's a bit of a nasty bug in the ASUS install scripts included with the 1.1.4.38/2.1.3.3 Intel I225/226 LAN Driver. I don't believe it's a problem for MoKiChU's redistributed driver-only downloads, as they don't appear to include the script in question. It's a new-ish PowerShell script named deloeminf.ps1, and it can do an erroneous "devcon dp_delete" on completely unrelated drivers due to a bad pattern match. I.e. it will delete random drivers. Full details, and a fix for the script bug here:

https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?132494-Harmful-deloeminf-ps1-script-in-latest-ASUS-Intel-I...

Edit: The download with the bad script is DRV_LAN_Intel_I225_I226_TSD_W11_64_V11438_20230303R.zip. Including the name here, for ease of reference, and so it's distinguishable from a future fixed version (the 20230303R should be the important bit for identifying that specific release, i.e. 3 March 2023).
